Across the Hall
This international multiple award winning drama, produced by Facilitator Films, was purchased by the Thames Valley District School Board and rolled out to Grade 10 civic classes throughout London Ontario. The films themes support efforts to target systemic barriers related to race, ethnic origin, sexual orientation and homophobia. Its heart-warming message of equality has made it an audience favorite amongst children and adults alike.

Good Intentions??
Objective:
to create a curriculum that will inform students of the potential missed opportunities and effective strategies to intervene when they suspect abuse.
Approach:
Rather than tell the students what to do we created a video that holds a mirror up to the current attitudes of secondary students towards dating violence in their schools while at the same time a true story of one female student victim unfolds in dramatizations. It's not a 'what to do' but rather a 'who we are' video for students. It reveals how uninformed they are about the facts of the issue as well as demonstrating the catastrophic results of their inactivity due to peer pressure.
